Announcement

Help us save historic buildings during America’s 250th anniversary.

Wildfire risk reduction donations and grants to defend deteriorated historic structures across the Western U.S. — before the 2026 fire season opens.

Two organizations — the Safer Chemistry Nonprofit 501(c)(3) and Wildfire Pro Shop Risk Reduction CitroTech Spray Services — have partnered to mitigate the wildfire threat to historical structures across the Western United States.

The initiative aligns with the 250th anniversary of America, emphasizing the urgency of protecting heritage landmarks and historic buildings that face significant risk this fire season. We are actively raising donations to fund the protective work, with the hope that federal support follows through grants.

The method is straightforward: applying CitroTech to deteriorated timber and the surrounding areas of historic structures. CitroTech is the only fire-retardant product carrying the U.S. EPA Safer Choice designation — an independent certification that the chemistry performs without harming human or environmental health.

How to participate

Wildfire season is about to start. Donations of any amount go straight to the boots-on-the-ground work of treating buildings that, once gone, can’t be rebuilt.
